Demonstration day - self-driving bus and delivery robot

-
Johanneberg Science Park, Sven Hultins Plats 2, Göteborg.

At the end of May, Johanneberg Science Park invited presentations and demos of the robot Hugo and the self-driving bus that has been under development and in operation in the Chalmers area. The event featured all project partners and presentations of lessons learned and what benefits they see this creating going forward. Some of the presentations were given in English. You find them further down.

Självkörande buss och robot-redigerad

In a not-too-distant future scenario, more and more of our transport will be handled by autonomous vehicles. It can be about the last piece of a transport or delivery chain, when people have to get from public transport to their final destination or goods have to be shipped from a transport center out to the end customer. These short distances are often both expensive and burdensome to the environment, and there is much to be gained from streamlining.

Eighteen partners from, among other things, universities, property owners, software and product developers and various actors in urban development have investigated the issue based on areas such as vehicle technology, transport efficiency, user perspective, business models and urban development potential.

The program featured:

Self-driving transport – part of tomorrow's cityscape?
Peter Eriksson, chairman of the board of Drive Sweden and former minister of housing and digitization.
