How a Drive Sweden project is created

Innovation projects with broad partnerships are fundamental to Drive Sweden. In our projects actors from business, public sector, universities and research institutes jointly pave the way for ideas that makes a difference. Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas offer a 50 percent co-funding of the projects, which enables organizations to experiment and test new ideas without having to generate a profit. Projects are granted either through open calls or through our process for individual projects. Applications are assessed against the program's vision, our program logic and innovation agenda.

Do you have a project idea?

We strive for projects in broad cooperation where the results have good opportunities to be implemented. Through our open process in the program office and board, the applicant receives feedback as the project idea develops. This builds knowledge both in the project consortium and in the program management. The process is not confidential.

Projects

Every year, Drive Sweden, through Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas, co-finances around twenty projects with one or more parties. The results are discussed at our annual Drive Sweden Forum and in different types of program activities such as workshops and knowledge seminars. Read more about our projects here.
