Parkcess part II - Parkyria

PARKYRIA consists of two parts:

1. A calculator for a transparent and predictable parking calculation. With the calculator, municipalities and property owners can jointly streamline the need for parking at the planning stage.

2. A marketplace for sharing parking spaces. Here, buyers and sellers of access to parking spaces in the planning process can meet. Today there is nothing like it on the market. The idea comes from having worked with early-stage urban planning and project management of parking analysis for many years.

Parking is a major and recurring concern. There are frictions between out-dated municipal parking policies, the property developers´ ability develop economically feasible projects and the fact that the residents ultimately, unknowingly, have to subsidize parking on their rent or in their BRF purchase. The current system is particularly unfair to residents who do not have a car and works against Sweden´s goals in Agenda 2030.
