Plan for a city with autonomous and connected vehicles

-
Sweco, Gjörwellsgatan 22, Stockholm

Welcome to a breakfast seminar with three inspiring presentations helping us understand how we need to plan our cities in the best way possible to enable solutions for a future with autonomous and connected vehicles.

Arranged by:
Sweco

(The first presentation will be in English, the rest in Swedish)

The presentations span from research to the physical planning and concrete developments necessary for spatial planners.

Presenters are:

  • Jonas Hatzenbühler, KTH – about his research on autonomous buses and about how changes in system design affect efficiency and perceived service quality. (Presentation in English)
  • Magnus Hjälmdahl, Sweco – about mega trends that affect the way we travel, today and going forward. What can automatisation, digitization, electrification and the sharing economy mean for our mobility solutions and how can they be approached in the planning process?
  • Johanna Johansson, Nobina – about the development of new products and traffic solutions for a more attractive public transport, with focus on Nobina's autonomous buses in Barkarby.
