VIDEO: Successful scaling of consolidation centers and micro hubs – examples from Sweden & the Netherlands

What's the latest developments regarding consolidation centers and micro hubs for goods? What successful and interesting initiatives are there? This was explored during a Thematic Area Meeting arranged by Business Models. During the event the attendees were presented by several good examples, followed by a panel discussion. Consolidation of goods and micro hubs are starting up in many cities all over Europe and are considered to be good solutions to solve congestion and emission free goods transport. Many ideas have been tested in this area, but does it scale? What hinders the scaling up? Business and collaborative model innovation is key for long term sustainability. This was investigated during a Thematic Areas Meeting arranged by Business Models.

During the event we got several presentations on ongoing, successful and promising initiatives from Sweden and the Netherlands, followed by a panel discussion.
