Global leaders discuss future urban mobility

Friday, November 20, 2015

At its Annual Meeting in Davos, January 2014, the World Economic Forum (WEF) launched the ”Making Self-Driving Vehicles a Reality” project, inviting selected global stakeholders from both government and industry as its core participants. Drive Sweden was invited to join this effort in June this year, and have since contributed in several ways.

On November 18 in San Francisco, WEF arranged a top summit gathering a small group of global thought leaders to discuss emerging models of urban transportation and to actively shape the future of urban mobility.

Drive Sweden’s Chairwoman Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd was one of the thirty participants in the meeting that was chaired by Mark Fields, CEO of Ford Motor Company.
