The project is part of KRABAT, a part of the Government’s innovation partnership program, “The next generation’s travel and transport,” and is funded in part by Vinnova through Drive Sweden.

The project aims to establish a facilitator function within Drive Sweden to support the projects in issues related to policy, infrastructure and digital Infrastructure.

Digital technology & Infrastructure
We base our work on the need to test new technologies in real-world environments to learn lessons, identify challenges and find solutions. For example, how will cameras on AVs be managed and what are the challenges of data storage in the development of digital ecosystems?

Physical Technology & Infrastructure
Here, too, we base our work on the need to test new technologies in real-world environments to learn lessons, identify challenges and find solutions. For example, we take a look at the permit process for small AVs in Kista and the municipalities' attempts to stimulate car pooling services.

Laws, rules & policy processes
Policy or policy processes that need to be developed is our starting-point in this part of the project. For example, we are exploring how to develop processes for the permit procedure for testing new technology in real environment.

The project evolved and focused on two use cases, on P2P Car sharing and employee mobility allowance. Read the position papers below.
