(2017-2018) The project is aimed at optimizing resource utilization of automated transport modes by connecting and linking them with existing public transport.

Through a logical data connection between transport modes, cooperation can be made where, for example cloud-based transport network provides recommendations on the dynamic departures of automated vehicles, connected through e.g. Drive Sweden Innovation Cloud.

The objective and purpose of the project

Within the project, a work package is aimed at building new traffic data interfaces, which will enable logical functionalities and prepare integration of various automated modes of transport. In addition, the project also focuses on expanding and raising traffic data content within Drive Sweden with the best available GIS and real-time data from PTA to improve the prerequisites for future development of Test Site Stockholm.

The project is also aimed at deploying a test environment at ITRL at KTH. The test environment will not only be used and create value in this project but is planned to enable further collaboration and knowledge dissemination between the partners and within Drive Sweden.

Integration of KTH's own test vehicles will also be included in the scope and will be utilizing the same technologies used for the free service Traze.

The projects goals are to help optimizing resource utilization of automated transport modes, as well as to improve the prerequisites for Test Site Stockholm within Drive Sweden.
