Network Shared E-scooters
New mobility services can contribute to the transition to a climate-smart society, but require adaptations and new standards.

Shared e-scooters are a good and clear example that quickly became widespread. Private operators build services on a commercial basis that customers appreciate. Authorities, municipalities and the police, with the support of laws and regulations, try to set the framework for the market and steer towards societal goals and adapt the infrastructure. New standards that are accepted by the majority must be developed by users, operators, public actors and the general public.
The project builds on the effort made during the first half of 2022. A network of roughly 60 people has been established representing: SKR, 20 municipalities, the Nordic Mobility Association, 7 operators as well as Vianova, Chalmers, K2, Västtrafik and the 2030 Secretariat.
The project will conduct quarterly roundtable discussions. Half full-day physical meetings and half digital meetings. Inspiration and competence development by spreading good examples of good working methods and working solutions.
