Smart City Expo World Congress is the world's biggest and most influential event on urban innovation and is held 5-7 November in Barcelona. Several Drive Sweden projects will be presented on the main stage and in our booth, we will showcase project results, collaboration model and our unique innovative capabilities.
With over 25 000 visitors and over 800 cities from all over the world eager to learn how new technology can be used in society, the board of Drive Sweden considered Smart City Expo World Congress is the perfect place for Drive Sweden to network, benchmark and spread its results.
“Here we have the opportunity to share Swedish innovative power and position ourselves internationally with our quite unique way of collaborating across organizational borders. I’m eager to see how we can contribute to the international discussions and what learnings we can bring back to Sweden,” Says Peter Eriksson, chairman of Drive Sweden.
Meet us at Tomorrow Mobility
The Drive Sweden booth will be located in the Tomorrow Mobility area in Hall 2, close to the Mobility Plaza main stage. In our booth you can always meet members of the Drive Sweden board and program office, representing a wide range of partner organisations.
Many of Drive Sweden’s partners are involved in the European network CCAM-Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility and have within Drive Sweden started the CCAM Sweden community to discuss Swedish initiatives on the European scale. CCAM Sweden will also be present at the SCEWC.
“I’ve already scheduled meetings with several European stakeholders and I’m looking forward to seeing how we can collaborate more internationally,” says Jonas Höglund, project leader of CCAM Sweden.
Project Showcase every hour
In the Drive Sweden booth, you will have the opportunity to meet with a new project every hour. The projects touch upon a wide range of issues, necessary to address in order for the mobility transition to take place.
With the AHA II project for example, you are invited to play the board game Common Ground developed within the project. The game can be used to guide the design of human-centric future mobility services. With Digital Proving Ground you are in control when a delivery robot in Gothenburg, 2400 km away from Barcelona, has a delivery mission.
Superheroes, robots and battery swapping
The AI Aware project suite focuses on traffic safety by predicting potential dangers on the road and Parkyria is a superhero for efficient use of parking space in cities. With Helsingbotica you’ll meet the delivery robot Hugo and with the SSKe-box your food deliveries will always be the right temperature without adding extra cooling. Hear about the smart battery swapping system for electric mopeds developed within the CoMiMo-project and what role does 5G play for future mobility.
“We are so much looking forward to doing this together with our partners and to show the results of Drive Sweden so far as well as engage in discussions that will guide us in the next steps of the program,” says Malin Andersson, program director of Drive Sweden.
