LIMA for the employer
THE PROJECT IS CONCLUDED
At Lindholmen, innovations that originate from social challenges are often in focus and many employers have mobility of the future as their business concept. By engaging in LIMA, companies got a chance to live as they learn, and contribute to the project while facilitating for their employees to travel sustainably both during worktime and to and from work.
Companies at Lindholmen could sign up for the LIMA travel app. This allowed the companies´ employees to access a wide variety of transport, from public transport to taxis and electric cars, all using the same app, from booking to payment.
The user could, in a simple way, indicate whether they would be paying for their own travel or if the bill should be sent to the company. There was no need to save or submit separate receipts. LIMA took care of all the administration.
There were several advantages of joining LIMA:
- Easier to get to work - with all means of transport, even for visitors
- More efficient business trips and less administration
- Follow-up of costs, environment and travel policy
- Mobility package as employment benefit
- Better use of parking spaces and vehicles
The pilot ran from September 2020 and gave employees of registered companies the opportunity to use LIMA services free of charge for the entire pilot.
