The future of transportation systems – what does it look like?

This is a question partners of Drive Sweden strive to answer. What we already know is that the future transportation system will be:

• More automated – aiming to increase safety, reduce climate impact, and optimize resource usage.
• More connected – where real-time data and communication between vehicles, infrastructure, and users enable smarter decisions.
• Multifaceted – where pedestrians, micromobility, private vehicles, shared services, public transport, and freight coexist in a complex and integrated traffic environment.

Testing and verification is a crucial part in developing the connected transportation system. Building on the projects using the former Drive Sweden Innovation Cloud, AstaZero and partners has continued this path while developing the Digital Proving Ground concept. Thus giving Drive Sweden Partners the opportunity to together develop tomorrows mobility.

What can you expect from this day? 

• Insight into the future sustainable transport system. Gothenburg Green City Zone and VOI will share their visions and initiatives. What is happening and how is the sustainable transition of mobility going?
• Testing and validation is a key component in building the sustainable, connected, intelligent transport system. AstaZero and Telia will share and showcase the capabilities of the Digital Proving Ground.
• You will see live demos of use cases showing how a future connected traffic system can function in practice.
• You will see methods to stress test and evaluate systems – where is the limit for when they work as intended?
• You will get to meet each other and discuss the future of mobility with like-minded people
