Micro logistics - The future of urban delivery?

-
Online + Sustainable Innovation, Drottninggatan 33
Arranged by:
Drive Sweden Business Model Lab

What are the trends in logistics in larger EU and UK cities? What will the market development within e-commerce and quick deliveries lead to? Is the new development of micro delivery vehicles what the market requires? What are the pain points and hinders? Will the cities’ new regulations on Zero Emission Zones mean a radical change?

Today, we can see a great variety of micro vehicles on our streets and bicycle lanes. Yet there is a long way to go before our increasingly environmentally conscious city authorities reach their emission reduction goals for transportation. With the range of available vehicle options that can help reduce emission, congestion and noise, this is no longer a technology issue.

However, there are several challenges that hinders a transition of our urban deliveries. To dive deeper into the opportunities and challenges that micro logistics offers, we invite you to a morning of interesting talks from a diverse panel. We will hear more about the visions, challenges and actions from our panelists, letting us see the issues from the perspectives of urban delivery platform providers, micro vehicle OEMs, city planners and incumbent delivery companies.

The webinar is broadcasted on Teams (10.30 to 12.00) and is followed up by a lunch and workshop (12.00 to 14.30) at Sustainable Innovation’s office (Drottninggatan 33, Stockholm). You can also follow the webinar on site.

During the workshop we will investigate how we can accelerate the shift to sustainable urban deliveries using micro vehicles through collaborative business model innovation.

Sign up to participate in one or both events, which will be held in English. See you there!
