Drive Sweden - System and services for mobility, 2021

Drive Sweden Innovation Cloud is used as a basis for several projects that have financial support from Drive Sweden. For example, several pilot tests with connected self-driving vehicles and new mobility services have been carried out. The platform, services and pilot trials have attracted national and international interest.

Några av Innovation Clouds delar presenteras.

During this project period, the common cloud platform will be provided with developed functionality for Innovation Cloud, Traffic Tower, connected digital infrastructure, digital twin, AI and automation. On top of this, the cloud platform will support and operate the sub-projects and services for MaaS and Automation that are chosen to be operated in the common cloud platform. Through Drive Sweden, and through the project's central actors, several of whom are global leading companies, the project has extensive international connections. These will be actively used for environmental monitoring, dissemination of results and to find partners and new business opportunities.

The conditions for commercialization of the project's results are assessed as very good through the project's gathering of forces around a common approach and platform, with leading demonstration environments and with active participation from leading players in business, society and academia.

The project is carried out in close collaboration with the Drive Sweden project AVTCT2 regarding Traffic Tower functionality and with Nordic Way regarding data sharing between actors.

Results

The project has achieved the goals of providing Drive Sweden with a technology and service platform for use in Drive Sweden's projects. The project has thereby enabled the development, demonstration and innovation of automated transport and mobility services within Drive Sweden. Drive Sweden Innovation Cloud and Traffic Tower have been used in several projects and demonstrations within Drive Sweden that included investments in digital infrastructure, AI and internationalization. In addition to Sweden, demonstrations have also been held in the USA, Singapore and France.

Work Package (WP)
The project includes three work packages:

WP1. Drive Sweden Innovation Cloud and Traffic Tower. Operation, support for connected partners, test sites, data, basic functions of Traffic Tower.
WP2. Connected Digital Infrastructure. Connection of 4G, 5G, V2X, traffic signals, traffic data etc. Geofence functionality.
WP3. Digital twin, AI and Automation. Specific investment to support projects with AI for increased automation.
